Did you know? The Sak was born in 1989 when childhood friends Mark Talucci and Todd Elliott ditched their corporate jobs to follow a dream of traveling the world and discovering new treasures.

It wasn’t until a trip to Bali where they decided to import these treasures back to their hometown of San Francisco. A seemingly simple rattan and leather bag fashioned from an everyday Balinese sleeping mat sparked the idea to focus on bags.
